Rumana Zahn, Naturopathic Physician

Rumana ZahnPractitioner, writer, speaker and lecturer, Rumana Zahn is talented in helping people create health, improve wellbeing and discover more about themselves.

Rumana started her early career as a microbiologist moving into the commercial world of international pharmaceuticals. She eventually decided to leave to engage with her deeper passions and purpose for living her life.

Rumana now runs her own clinics in the North East, writes for several magazines and teaches and lectures for various organisations. She is an advisor to one of the leading bodies in Complementary Medicine, the ICM. Rumana also runs her own health programs, courses and retreats internationally.

Simon Owen, Yoga Teacher

Simon OwenSimon OwenAfter 9 years working as a research chemist in the area of depression Simon retrained as a yoga teacher with the Dharma Yoga Centre in Harlow in the tradition of The Bihar School of Yoga. For ten years Simon has taught yoga to a wide range of people aiming to make it accessible to all, from babies to pensioners. Since 1999 Simon has organised yoga breaks in the UK and Europe, a chance to get away, to meet ourselves afresh through yoga and enjoy a holiday with like-minded people. Simon often works with other talented teachers to combine yoga with other disciplines such as detox, walking, mosaics and reflexology. In 2004 Simon completed 3 years of training to qualify to teach The Alexander Technique (AT) and teaches both yoga and AT in and around east London where he lives with his wife Grace and son Ben.

Paul and Fi

Paul Primarolo + Fi PrimaroloPaul Primarolo + Fi PrimaroloFiona and Paul Primarolo are experienced mountain walkers who have been living in the Alpujarra region of Southern Spain since the 1980's. Since the mid 90's they have been running their small seasonal business, Bootlace Walking Holidays - combining their love of the mountains, good vegetarian food and walking. Their local knowledge is extensive and they share an infectious enthusiasm for the spectacular Sierra Nevada where they have made their home.

Fiona has been a vegetarian chef since moving to Spain, including working as head chef at the alternative holiday centre Cortijo Romero.
