Yoga three day weekend
Eden Hall
Sisters of St Andrew, Eden Hall, Stick Hill, Edenbridge, Kent, TN22 8NN
Thursday 30th Sunday 3rd July 2005
With Ruth and John White
Ruth and John White teach with enthusiasm and a sense of fun, and bring the same warmth and clarity to their talks and demonstrations. They are well known for their attention to detail, and they have the ability to enable people to see through their limitations, achieve their full potential and experience a sense of freedom.
“Give your complete attention to the postures. Then we have the chance to wake up to the present. We are adaptable in our teaching to meet the ever-changing needs of our students.”
All levels of ability are catered for and most welcome.

Eden Hall is home to the Ignatian community of The Sisters of St Andrew. It is a truly beautiful, serene listed stately home in the heart of the Kent countryside. The Hall was founded in the Middle Ages to welcome pilgrims ‘en route’ to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. They still welcome visitors like us, who are sympathetic to the spiritual path.
Accommodation
We are most fortunate to be invited to stay with the Sisters of St Andrew. The accommodation is made up of comfortable mostly single rooms with views across the gardens and hillsides. Eden Hall can accommodate only 22 students. There are many possibilities for walks, both in the gardens and across the country paths of Kent.
Directions
By car:
Eden Hall is about 40 minutes from the Cheam Yoga Centre. Join the M25, and leave at Junction 6 for Oxted. Follow the B269, then B2026 through Edenbridge Town, direction Cowden - Hartfield for about 3 miles, Sisters of St Andrews on right.
By rail:
Trains go from Victoria (changing at Redhill) or Charing Cross (changing at Tonbridge) to Edenbridge. There is a taxi service from Edenbridge at the end of Station Approach.
Cost
The full cost of the weekend is £275. Non-residential students are also welcome, and it will cost £65 for a day including all meals. Thursday evening + Sunday morning count as one day.
