Ruth and John White teach with enthusiasm and a sense of fun, and bring the same warmth and clarity to their talks and demonstrations. They are well known for their attention to detail, and they have the ability to enable people to see through their limitations, achieve their full potential and experience a sense of freedom.

Give your complete attention to the postures. Then we have the chance to wake up to the present. We are adaptable in our teaching to meet the ever-changing needs of our students.”

All levels of ability are catered for and most welcome.

Eden Hall is home to the Ignatian community of The Sisters of St Andrew. It is a truly beautiful, serene listed stately home in the heart of the Kent countryside. The Hall was founded in the Middle Ages to welcome pilgrims ‘en route’ to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. They still welcome visitors like us, who are sympathetic to the spiritual path.

Accommodation

We are most fortunate to be invited to stay with the Sisters of St Andrew. The accommodation is made up of comfortable mostly single rooms with views across the gardens and hillsides. Eden Hall can accommodate only 22 students. There are many possibilities for walks, both in the gardens and across the country paths of Kent.

Guests:

Gary Carter has a unique approach. His far seeing talks on anatomy & physiology give a new dimension to your yoga, adding a feeling of freedom and lightness. Gary will be talking with us on Thursday before and after lunch.

Dawn Smith is a senior Karuna teacher and has a natural gift for teaching.  You will enjoy her intuitive approach.

Suzie Shpaizer is a very gentle and meditative senior teacher. Her teachings bring relaxation and strength. She is well qualified to teach, being a Karuna teacher for many years.
