Our Cardio Yoga classes have been devised to raise your heart rate to an aerobic level and sustain it for approx 45 minutes. They allow you to enjoy all of the benefits that a top quality yoga practice combined with an aerobic workout can bring.
The classes contain carefully selected strong postures suitable for those with previous yoga experience. The postures are linked together by the breath to form vinyasas. Vinyasa yoga lengthens, strengthens, shapes and tones all major muscle groups of the body, helps remove excess body fat, increases energy levels, strengthens the heart and lungs and helps to clear and focus the mind.
Each class uses clear, easy-to-follow instructions combined with different atmospheric background music tracks to form practical, effective, high quality yoga sessions.
The classes are available on CD and MP3 Download. Both versions are accompanied by a guide booklet that highlights the instructions and gives a series of reference photos for each yoga posture.
Cardio Yoga Vol.1
CARDIO Yoga Vol.1 (2009) is a 71 minute class that begins with a warm up vinyasa to gently get things moving. It then continues with 3 more vinyasa’s that build in pace and intensity. The vinyasa’s contain postures such as Downward Facing Dog with variations, Upward Facing Dog, Plank with variations, Half Moon, Warrior 1, Warrior 2, Sun Warrior and Plough.
After the fourth vinyasa the class features a number of strong held postures and a series of deep stretch postures before it concludes with a guided relaxation session.

Cardio Yoga Vol.2
Cardio Yoga Vol.2 (2009) is a 71 minute class that has been devised to offer an alternative to the Vol.1 class. Vol.2 begins with a warm up vinyasa to gently get things moving. It then continues with 3 more vinyasa’s that build in pace and intensity. The vinyasa’s contain postures such as Plank with new variations, Triangle, Revolving Triangle, Equestrian Pose and Supported Pigeon.
After the fourth vinyasa the class features a number of strong held postures and a series of deep stretch postures before it concludes with a guided relaxation session.
