The Alhambra Palace complex in Spain reflects a time in history when the Arab/ Spanish/European and Jewish faiths understood the meaning of unity of purpose, exchange and tolerance. A much forgotten time of universal harmony was lived in the Middle Ages as a lesson for us all today.

It is impossible not to feel the mystery and energy of the great Palace and its symbolic importance through the music. The melodies are magnetising and the mesmeric drum sequences take you to a time of vibrancy and rhythm such as would have been around the arches and magnificent gardens of this Spanish miracle.

The quality of energy and intention in this album makes it an ideal and perfect candidate for music for massage, therapy sessions, yoga or meditation. In fact allowing the music to connect with that altogether spiritually aware time would enhance any meditation session.

This period of history was all too brief but the music that Jon Mark has created on this album allows it to live on and blossom in our lives today that we might be inspired to bring forth the values of that period of understanding and tolerance into the world.
